The Peaks to Pines Residents Association (P2PRA) is the fundraising arm of Crowsnest Pass Senior Housing and a registered charity. While the Senior Housing Board and CAO handle Lodge operations like residency, staffing, and meals, P2PRA focuses on enhancing residents’ quality of life through transportation, courtyard improvements, and other amenities. As a volunteer-run organization, we fundraise, accept donations, and issue tax receipts to support our residents.

Though our Board consists mostly of non-residents, all Lodge residents are automatically members and eligible to join the Board. Any Association member can also run for a Board position.

What We’ve Achieved

Thanks to fundraising efforts, we’ve secured:

  • A 13-passenger bus & wheelchair-accessible van

  • Courtyard enhancements: gazebo, pergolas, outdoor furniture

  • Subsidized rider fees for medical and recreational trips

Our Mission

“Through volunteer efforts and fundraising, we strive to support and enhance the quality of life for the residents of Peaks to Pines Lodge. Seniors are empowered, with care, respect and kindness, to prolong their independence and community connections.”

Our Objectives

The Peaks to Pines Residents’ Association (P2PRA) was established in 1999, as York Creek Residents Association. In 2022, the name was changed with the opening of the Peaks to Pines Seniors’ Lodge. It is a registered charity.

Its objectives are:

1) To relieve conditions and disabilities associated with aging to individuals affected by these conditions by providing shopping assistance and transportation outings and activities; and

2) To promote and enhance health, wellness, and quality of life for the aging population in the community by providing amenities, facilities, and services for these purposes.

Crowsnest Cruisers

The P2PRA also operates the Crowsnest Cruisers, providing affordable, assisted transportation for Crowsnest Pass residents 50+ and those with mobility challenges.

Though nearly 50% of riders are residents of Peaks to Pines Seniors’ Lodge, the program serves the entire community, making a real impact.
